Time to unload

My phone!
Casey has caught Magna-Doodle fever!

I finished my purse!! Thus the messy room. Thanks Jamie for helping me!

My kids love this face. Especially when it's doing this.  (I miss my hair!)
Playing in the coat rack in the store is ELECTIFYINGLY fun!

On of our local playgrounds flooded. Behind those trees is the play structure. I'd say it's 3 feet deep.

Day before the big surgery we played with Jamie and Brook at the indoor park. LOTS of fun!

The last picture with my boobies. (Nervousness makes me goofy).

Post surgery and in good spirits (Thanks Crystal for my blanky!)

Goldie Locks

Aunt Deedles cutting Magooly's hippy hair and Magooly trying out a mustache

"I like my long hair!"

Handsome boy!

The second surgery, old hat. This must be while I was falling asleep because surely I wouldn't deliberately pose like this for a picture.
Winter Wonderland
A Monkey in the snow! :)
throwing snow balls

the new do

Take a good look, I've never seen Bennett eat like this in his whole life. The kid loves spaghetti!

He loves it too. "Oh, I ate too much".

At the Oregon vs Stanford game, my first Duck game!

Great game, great date!

Bare feet in the "O"

We love hats...

I just love him.

And him. He is so cuddly after baths

I almost can't stand this cuteness! He made me this card when I had my mastectomy. He even drew the veins on the leaf and glued a petal "falling" off the flower. Thanks Cinnie and Papa for watching them for us!!!

My current obsession

Raising Cain, The Emotional Lives of Boys. Read it, just do it. It's only 258 pages long and it will change how you view and interact with boys. If you have a boy in your life, whether you're a parent, teacher, mentor or friend, you need to read this.
"...But as their manuscript progressed, Kindlon and Thompson realized a simple "how-to" would not do. "In the end," they write, "we found that the best advice we had to offer was simply to understand boys as they truly are rather than as they appear or as we wish them to be. Our deepest wish is to pull aside the curtain boys so tenaciously draw around themselves and offer you a look inside their hearts and minds. If we succeed, we hope that you will see more clearly the ways in which our culture conspires to limit and undermine their emotional lives. We hope you will understand boys better, and above all, we hope you will enjoy them more"
Read an interview with one of the authors, Dan Kindlon, PH.D. here.
